A Farewell Letter

If God gives me a piece of life, i´ll dress simple; I show my face to the sun, leaving exposed, not only my body but my soul. My God! If I had a heart, I would write my hate on the ice and waited for the sun to come out. I would paint with a dream of Van Gogh on the stars a poem of Benedetti an a song of Serrat it would be a serenade offer to the moon. I would water with tears the roses, to feel the pain of their thorns and the sweet kiss their petals ....

My God!, If I had a piece of life ... I would not fail to spend a single day without telling the people I love, that I do. I would convince every woman or man that they are my favorites and live being in love with love. I would prove to man, how mistaken they are in thinking that they are no longer able to fall in love when they age, not knowing that they age when they stop falling in love!. I would give a child wings, but let him learn to fly by itself. I would teach the elderly, that death does not arrive with old age, but with oblivion.
So many things I have learned from you, men ... I have learned that everyone wants to live on top of the mountain, without knowing that real happiness is in the form you climb the steep. I have learned that when a newborn child squeezes with her small fist, for the first time, the finger of his father, it is trapped forever. I have learned that the only time a man has the right to look down at another men is when he is helping him stand up. There are so many things that I have learned from you, but really they will not serve much, because when they seal me inside that suitcase, unfortunately I will be dying.

Always say what you feel and do what you think. If I knew that today was the last time I will see you sleep, I would hug you heavily and pray to the Lord so that I could become the guardian of your soul. If I knew that this would be the last time I will see you out the door, I would give you a hug, a kiss and call you again to give you more. If I knew that this would be the last time I hear your voice, I would record each of your words to be able to hear them over and over again indefinitely. If I knew that these were the last minute that i would see you, I would say "I love you!" And not assume foolishly that you already know.
Simply there is a tomorrow and life gives us another chance to make things right, but if I am wrong and today is all we have left, I would like to tell you that I love you and I will never forget you.

Tomorrow is not guaranteed to anyone, young or old. Today may be the last time you´ll see those you love. So do not wait any longer, do it now, because if tomorrow never comes, you will surely regret the day you did not took the time to give that smile, that hug, that kiss because you were too busy to grant a last wish. Keep those you love around you, tell them, let them hear how much you need, love and care for them, treat them well. Take the time to say: "Sorry," "Forgive me", "Please", "Thank you" and all the words of love and care you know ...
